After the repetitive creation of 50 5x5 inch cyanotypes of small toys and objects my daughter would leave on the floor at 18 months old for the piece “On the Floor” I hoped to have a continuation of larger toy groups using this process. Through continual exploration and experimentation not only with the cyanotype process, but toys my daughter collected through her toddler years, I made 6 12x17 Inch cyanotypes for an exhibition titled “Small Stories: Vignettes in Blue” at the Boston Children’s Museum that ran from November of 2022 to February of 2023.
